Kirk Johnson, of the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History in Washington, is pictured with the museum's current exhibition of dinosaurs. He is pictured through the cast of a Tyrannosaurus rex head. The Smithsonian is acquiring and will exhibit the real bones of a Tyrannosaurus rex on a 50-year loan from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
