Shooting in Pella

Pella — There was a shooting this morning at 40 Brooks Circle in Pella. Preliminary reports indicate that six to seven shots were fired during the exchange. 

The suspect was subdued by law enforcement and taken away in an ambulance. 

Marion County Chief Deputy Troy Fisher confirmed that there was a shooting and that the Pella Police are in charge of the investigation. Pella Chronicle Editor Clint Brown is on the scene to talk with Police Chief Robert Bokinsky to try to learn more.
