Slideshow: Limb brings down utility pole

Knoxville — In what appears to be a tree trimming accident, a utility pole was brought down in front of 1010 East Washington in Knoxville this afternoon around 12:30 p.m. 

A heavy tree limb fell on a line that appeared to be running to the residence. The limb pulled the utility pole this line was attached to, out of the ground and damaged a second pole nearby. The line is dangling on nearby lawns.

MidAmerican Energy, Knoxville Fire/Rescue and Knoxville Police responded. Power was lost on the block, but quickly restored.
