Knoxville —

The Animal Health Center of Knoxville has moved into a new location at 605 West Pleasant. An open house is being held until 6 p.m. Tuesday night to celebrate the move, and the Knoxville Ambassadors were on hand to cut the ribbon.

The Center has been a part of Knoxville for a couple of years. Dr. Matthew C. Garver said the business has grown out of its previous location. At the new site on Pleasant, there is more examination space and the opportunity to have more vets on hand every day. His vets include himself, Dr. Lisa King, Dr. Kelli Nive and Dr. Sonya St. Paul, who specializes in the treatment of larger animals. A doctor is available all day every day.

The business also offers a digital radiograph machine and a larger inventory of pet supplies. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
