Knoxville — The Knoxville "Morning" Kiwanis Club is holding a pancake day today (Friday, Feb. 14) through 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

No snowstorm could dampen the spirits of the Kiwanis, who are trying to raise more money to complete the second phase of their Miracle Playground at Young's Park. For $6, diners will be treated to all of the pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee they want. Proceeds go to the playground.

Bob Dralle with the Kiwanis said the event will continue through 6:30 p.m. Friday, or until they run out of pancake batter.

"And we won't run out of mix," Dralle said.
