Dollars for Scholars night held

Knoxville — The tenth annual Knoxville Dollars for Scholars event was held last night. 

This year, Dollars for Scholars distributed 78 scholarships that totaled over $52,000. In the organization's time of existence, over $450,000 has been distributed to 737 Knoxville High School graduates. 

Scholarships were announced by KHS Principal Kevin Crawford. Dollars for Scholars awards were read by Kyle Kinciad. Hundreds of people were in attendance, with several community members present to hand out scholarships.
