Video: Avenue of Flags erected at Graceland Cemetery

Knoxville — A large group of people gathered this morning to erect the Avenue of Flags at Graceland Cemetery.

The crowd braved cold temperatures and a slight wind to erect hundreds of flags along the roads inside the cemetery. Mike Kuhn with the Marion County Commission on Veterans Affairs, made a speech and shared a prayer after all of the flags were erected.

Video accompanying this article shows a portion of the ceremony. We plan to post more photos later.
