Pastors celebrate Chadwick's retirement

Knoxville — A group of Knoxville pastors gathered for lunch today in honor of the impending retirement of one of their own, Pastor John Chadwick. 

Chadwick, currently the minister of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, is scheduled to retire at the end of the month. His last Sunday at the church is Feb. 24.

Through his time in Knoxville, Chadwick has been active with the local ministerial organization. Several of the ministers who have worked with him presented him with a plaque in honor of his years in service to the Lord. All of them said he will be missed. 

Chadwick has no definite plans for retirement. He and wife, Dianne, have moved to Johnston in anticipation of his retirement.
