KHS Alum earns Golden Apple

Moravia — Knoxville High School alumnus Josie Harvey Vandermark was presented with the Golden Apple award recently for her work as a teacher in Moravia.

Vandermark, niece of Chuck and Elaine Galeazzi, will be featured on WHO-HD between 5-7 a.m. on Friday, March 22. The Golden Apple has traditionally been an award given outstanding teachers who have been nominated by their students.

A message has been left for Vandermark in the hopes of scheduling an interview for a full story in the March 29 Journal-Express.
