Wreaths to be placed at Graceland Cemetery

Knoxville — The Oskaloosa/Mary Marion Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will conduct a Wreaths Across America ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m., at Graceland Cemetery. 

Seven ceremonial wreaths will be placed to remember those who served, honor their sacrifices and teach younger generations about the high cost of our freedoms. 

Specially designated wreaths for teh Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and POW/MIA will be placed on memorials during the ceremony, which will be conducted simultaneously at over 400 participating locations all across the country. 

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
