Knoxville Homecoming Royalty Announced

Knoxville — At a pep rally this afternoon, the candidates for 2013 Homecoming King and Queen were announced.

Queen candidates include Erica Fee, Kaitlynn Botkin, Marissa Lenger, Jory Wallace and Kaitlin Harrington. King candidates include Gerritt Davis, Austin Ramsey, Grant Pearson, Brandon Iddings and Zach Newendorp.

The candidates were announced after performances by the marching band and cheerleaders. Police Chief Dan Losada also reminded the students to have fun during Homecoming next week, but to do so without creating trouble for themselves and the community.

The Homecoming game will be played next Friday, Sept. 27, against Dallas Center-Grimes.
