Family drops 158 lbs. to win national weight-loss challenge

(Continued)

FATE, Texas —

The work was worth the effort. Every family member lost weight, and their combined total of 158 pounds helped them edge out teams from all over the country. Some of the Fishers plan to do another weight loss challenge, and they want to share what they've learned with others.

"It was transformative," Tamara said of the experience. "We really want to be able to help other families do similar things."
