Nude motorcyclist alarms Oklahoma town

CHICKASHA, Okla. —

Residents of this west-central Oklahoma town couldn't believe their eyes: a motorcyclist was riding buck naked down a main road in bright daylight Sunday.

Alerted by alarmed observers, police responded with sirens and flashing lights, pulling over the cyclist, who they identified as Billy Buckley.

Officers said he had a shoe covering his privates, but wore nothing else.

Patrolman Brandon Sparks said Buckley initially told them his clothing was stolen while swimming at Lake Chickasha, but later admitted his mid-day nude ride was tied to a $50 bet.

Buckley was booked on public indecency charges.
