Pleasantville Greenhouse Plant Sales Begin Soon

Pleasantville — The Pleasantville High School Greenhouse will begin its annual greenhouse sales Saturday, April 19, and will continue through Saturday, May 24. For customer convenience, plants can be purchased during school hours (8:10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday. Saturday hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please stop in to get your beautiful flowers, fruits, and vegetables!  Examples include peppers, tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumbers, raspberries, rhubarb, miniature roses, petunias, begonias, pansies, and many more.

This year, students are offering a “Mix and Match”, whereby you can get a four pack and pick any four vegetable plants in the greenhouse to put in it. Students are also accepting pre-orders for customers who want to purchase now and wait for pickup of plants after April 18.

Please come and support the Pleasantville Horticulture class. If you have any questions, or would like an order form, please call 515-848-0548 or email mcollins@pleasantville.k12.ia.us. You can find the greenhouse at 415 West Jones Street, behind the old bus barn.
