Pleasantville — Pleasantville Schools' new administrators, Superintendent Dr. Tony Aylsworth and Elementary Principal Tom Roff, were in their offices Friday morning preparing for the school year.
Aylsworth comes to Pleasantville from Carlisle. He says that he and his family are settling into the community well. He added that he is grateful for the condition in which the school district stands, and thanks his predecessors, both Bob Miller and Dave Isgrig, for the work they have done to lead the district before him.
Roff is a Pleasantville native who is glad to come home. He takes over for Kelly Harrison, who accepted another job. He, too, is grateful for the opportunity to serve his hometown.
Pleasantville Schools begin classes on Aug. 27.
