Knoxville — The City of Knoxville's budget hearing will be held tonight, Monday, March 3, at 6:15 p.m. The budget is just part of the Knoxville City Council's heavy agenda for this evening.
The public hearing for the budget allows residents to come in and address the council about concerns with the budget. The council limits the amount of time each person has to speak to a particular concern.
Also on the council's agenda is approval of new building and plumbing codes, approval of a plat for a new housing development, the rail port study agreement and more.
The full agenda can be found here.
Look for reports on the council in the March 7 print edition.
