Car fire extinguished quickly

Knoxville — A transmission line blew and caused a fire in a white Jeep while traveling westbound on Highway 92 outside Knoxville.

That's according to Deputy Jeff Koder of the Marion County Sheriff's Office. The call came in around 2:30 p.m. The MCSO, Knoxville Rural Fire Department and Knoxville Police Department responded. The fire was out before the first responders arrived.

Koder was still on scene, but the fire department had already left.
