Des Moines — Oral submissions are expected to be delivered to the Iowa Court of Appeals on Nov. 7 in the appellate case of convicted murderer Terry Tobias Cobbins, Jr.

Cobbins' defense attorney for the trial, Matthew Sheeley, filed the appeal moments after the conclusion of the sentencing hearing. The appeal has been ongoing since April 2012.
Miller has also appealed. His oral arguments are scheduled for Dec. 10 at 9 a.m.
