Work on Pleasant today

Knoxville — Road work at 306 West Pleasant may cause delays today. Assistant City Manager Dylan Feik sent us the following:

On Friday, Nov. 1, a contractor will be doing a small road repair in front of 306 W Pleasant (Phillips 66 gas station). The work will include removal and replacement of asphalt which spans both lanes of W. Pleasant. Work will begin at 10 a.m. and the road will not be fully, rather reduced to single lane traffic which allows Pleasant Street to remain open at all times. Flaggers will be used to direct traffic safely past the roadwork. Work will be completed by 3 p.m. today and will be opened thereafter.
