---- — The Pleasantville FFA took a trip to Ames to attend State FFA on April 22-23. The Parliamentary Procedure team participated and some members received awards and recognition. Members toured the Iowa State Beef Teaching Farm and Natural Resources Program on campus. They were present for sessions led by the State Officer Team and enjoyed a lunch trip to Hickory Park each day.

Our Parliamentary Procedure team received a Gold and were runners-up! (This means they were second overall out of all Iowa FFA chapters!)

Team members included Josie Burgett, Rebecca Colboth, Kennedy Core, Hagen Fouch, Alli Friday, and Taryn Tibboel.

Natalie Padellford, Jessica Webster, and Katelyn Sanders each received the highly coveted Iowa FFA Degree.

Natalie Padellford won the State FFA Proficiency Award in the area of Forestry and received a big cash award!

Maddie Harken, Katelyn Sanders, Mandy Thompson, Natalie Padellford, and Jessica Webster were each recognized for Academic Achievement Awards.

President Reed McCormick represented our chapter and accepted the FFA Ambassador Award.

The Pleasantville FFA continues to succeed and we are very proud of the state participants!
