Marion County hosts IFGC State Convention, Flower Show - See slideshow
The Iowa Federated Garden Clubs held their Convention and Flower Show at Pella's Vermeer Global Pavilion on Friday. Visitors enjoyed Horticulture Displays, Artistic Floral Designs and browsing among Garden Vendors for plants and garden art. Members of Pella Garden Club organized and supervised the flower show held during the convention. Guest of Honor for the Convention Meeting were National Garden Club President Shirley S. Nicolai from Ft. Washington, Maryland. She will preside over the installation of the new Iowa Garden Club President Sandy Wales from Muscatine, and the new 5th District Director Rosemary Smith from Knoxville.
