Knoxville — The Knoxville Draggins Car Club will host its first of three final Graffiti Nights of the summer on Friday, June 27, at Motor Inn of Knoxville.
The public is invited to attend this free event from 5-8 p.m. All motor vehicles are welcome.
Draggins Spokesperson Mary Spurgeon says that the club was founded in 2008. It was reformed from an original car club created in 1979.
Games, music, food and door prizes (for registered vehicles) are planned for the event. The club hosted an event on May 30, which drew strong attendance (approximately 35 cars). Spurgeon is hopeful for another strong turnout in June.
"It's kind of exciting," Spurgeon said of the event. Street rods, customs and any other vehicles are welcome. Her favorite part of the event is bringing everyone together, to share in their love of cars.
The event will be held Friday, June 27, from 5-8 p.m., rain or shine. Future Graffiti Nights are scheduled for July 25 and Aug. 29.
