Gyolai starting business in Ghana

Steve Woodhouse

Pella — Jamie Gyolai and family are packing up and moving to the country of Ghana in Africa, to oversee a new vehicle business.

Gyolai, with Don Harms, will start and oversee a production facility for the Vytrak, an intermediate mode of transportation with three wheels. The goal of these vehicles, when sold, is they will be utilized as entrepreneurial vehicles.

Once one purchases a Vytrak, he or she can use it in small villages to offer transportation assistance. An owner should be able to make money utilizing his or her vehicle.

Gyolai said he will probably be in Ghana for two to three years. As for his cabin business, and home in Pella, someone will be hired to oversee their operation. He said customers can expect no changes in regard to the cabins.
