Knoxville — The filing deadline for Marion County offices in the June Primary was Wednesday night. The only County office up for election to have more than one filed candidate was that of supervisor. Incumbent Craig Agan is being challenged by fellow Republican Adam Wadle. Wadle has sought the office in the past.
Fellow incumbents Ed Bull (County Attorney-R), Denise Emal (County Treasurer-D) and Karen Schwanebeck (County Recorder-R) have all filed to seek reelection. No other candidates have filed to oppose these candidates.
Though there may not be candidates for the June Primary, each party can nominate a candidate through a convention prior to November.
