HCI Care Services
May 6-12 is National Nurses Week, created to highlight the contributions of the nation’s 3.1 million registered nurses improving lives in various health care settings and contributing to the largest health care profession.
Knoxville’s Cindy Fenoglio is among these individuals helping patients and their families at a time when they need it most. As a nurse with HCI Care Services, she specializes in pain and symptom management, enabling patients and their families to live their lives as fully as possible, enjoying the people and traditions they love. She also teaches care practices to patients and their families.
“I enjoy getting to know my patients and their histories,” Fenoglio said. “It's an honor to be allowed on their journeys with them.”
Fenoglio has been a nurse with HCI Care Services for nine years as part of her 38-year nursing career. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids. Fenoglio is also one of only 284 Iowa nurses certified in hospice and palliative nursing accreditation through the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses.
