---- — Bonnie Delores Cowman was born May 3, 1935, in Bussey, the daughter of Vic and Delta (Jones) Heaton.

Bonnie lived in Marion County her entire life. On Sept. 29, 1967, she was united in marriage to Leo Cowman. She had worked at the Knoxville V.A. Medical Center in the Canteen and as a cook. Bonnie also worked at Pine Knolls Country Club, West Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center, K.F.C. and owned her own restaurant, the Coffee Cup. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed fishing, dancing, mushrooming and Prairie Meadows. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family.

Bonnie passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at the West Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 78 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Dave, Jim and Don and her sister, Peg.

She is survived by her husband, Leo of Knoxville; children: Charlie Smith of Knoxville, Bonnie Provenzano of Pershing, Tom Smith of Knoxville and Leo D. Cowman of Knoxville; siblings: Jack Heaton of Knoxville, Norma Kauzlarich of Knoxville, Shirley Gullion of Oskaloosa and Carolyn Fee of Eddyville and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Bonnie has been cremated and no services are planned.
