“I’d like to say I’ve had a good life being born again June of 1952. I’ve lived an odd life – following the leading of the spirit within me. Not caring what others thought only caring if I was doing the “Lord’s Will”. I don’t have much of worldly goods, but I have a wealth of experience in doing for others”.-Katherine Schirner
A Funeral Service for Katherine was held Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Mason Funeral Home in Pleasantville. Burial was at Swan Cemetery, following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Winterset Care Center South in appreciation of the love and care they gave Kate.
