Marjorie Dunham

Marjorie (Marge) Dunham, of Freeport, Ill., went to her eternal rest on May 19, 2013, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing home.

Marge was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Monroe, to Carl and Marie Rinehart, both having preceded her in death.

Also preceding her were her three brothers, Carol Francis Rinehart (inf), Doyle Rinehart and Donald Rinehart.

On May 14, 1950, Marge was united in marriage to Francis (Frank) Dunham, in Knoxville.

To this union, three sons were born; Gregory and Douglas, both of Freeport, Ill., and Robert of Appleton, Wis.

Marge was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Francis (Frank); son ,Gregory and his wife Lianne, of Freeport; son Douglas of Freeport; son Robert and his wife Valerie, of Appleton, Wis. Grandson Scott and his wife Megan of Aurora, Ill., Granddaughter Alexis of Freeport, Ill.,

Granddaughter Emily of Woodbury, Minn., Grandson Anthony of Carmel IN, Granddaughter Abigail of New Brighton, Minn., as well as a large number of friends and acquaintances throughout the country.

Marjorie loved Christian Women’s Club. She served as Chairwoman for two years in Elgin, Ill.

She also helped start a new club in Lakeland, Fla., and served as Chairwoman for two years.

She also was a member of PEO in Florida. She loved traveling and camping, knitting, crocheting

and craft work She loved all kinds of music and playing the piano and organ. She sang in church

choirs many years. She was a woman of deep faith who taught Sunday School classes and some

Bible Studies. She also served as organist at a Church in Lakeland, Fla. Marge also known for her

portrayal of “Lucy Lou Lolly” for her Zion Church Senior family.

There was a Memorial Service held Saturday, June 1, with reception following at Zion Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Zion Church Music Ministry, in her memory.
