Randy Roggeman

A Celebration of Life for Randy Roggeman, age 55 of Knoxville, will be held on Saturday, June 15 at the home of Sue and Daryl Irving, 1308 160th Ave., Knoxville at 5 p.m. There will also be a Celebration of Randy’s Life on June 23 at the Little Chicago, 11 2nd Street NE, Mason City, Iowa, from 1-4 p.m.

Randy Raymond Roggeman was born on July 29, 1957, in Escondido, Calif., the son of William Albert Roggeman and Lucille Ann (Meyers) Roggeman.

He attended school in Mason City before joining the United States Army where he served from Jan. 27, 1976, to Dec. 18, 1978. He worked at Coca-Cola Bottlers in Mason City for many years before moving to Des Moines where he was employed by the VA Hospital. He later moved to Knoxville to work at the VA Hospital. Randy worked for the VA Hospitals for a total of 19 years. Randy had been working at 3M in Knoxville most recently.

Randy passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his home at the age of 55 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Roggeman and a brother, Harold in 2008.

Randy is survived by his mother, Lucille Roggeman of Mason City; sister, Karen Roggeman of Sporaa (Don Lange) of Britt; brother, Michael Roggeman (Terry) of Mason City; nieces and nephews; Cassie and Brittnie Roggeman of Mason City, Cory Endriss of Mason City, Jamie Roggeman of Britt; special friends, Doc L. Emery (Shelene) of Knoxville, along with many other friends.
