Knoxville — Knoxville Middle School's Talented and Gifted (TAG) students raised $509 during their fun day. They chose to donate the money to the Grand Theater Foundation.
The students presented the foundation, represented by Dylan Morse, this morning. During the fun day, students collected donations and charges to access rooms where games were being played.
The Grand Theater Foundation is trying to raise $500,000 to upgrade and reopen the downtown theater, formerly known as the Village Theater.
Accompanying this story are TAG students Bailey VandeKamp, Megan Moyle and Cassidy Pearson, sharing their thoughts on TAG and their donation.
