Knoxville — The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session Monday, Dec. 9, at 5:30 p.m. Included in the agenda is the review of design concepts for a new building at the football field.

Members of the Knoxville Alumni Association made a request to build a new shelter on the south end of the field. The board has also discussed repairs to the wooden "Panther Country" wall around the field itself. Drainage and soil conditions around the area were a concern.

The board has received proposals for a feasibility study of the project.

Board members will also hear from a subcommittee regarding some of the vacated positions. Members Mike Helle and Mike Moats are scheduled to meet with Superintendent Randy Flack and Business Manager Craig Mobley today (Friday, Dec. 6) to discuss the positions and filling them.

A special board meeting is also scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11. Board meetings are public unless the discussion falls under one of the qualifying exceptions for which the board can move into closed session.
