Lauer goes wild in scoring 28 against the Blue Demons

---- — It took overtime, but the Pleasantville Trojans earned a big non conference win over the Albia Blue Demons 81-74 Jan. 30.

Dylan Lauer was unstoppabe for the Trojans as he pumped in 28 points. He had 27 through three quarters.

Chad Robbins added an inside punch with 13. The 6’7” Robbins had eight points in overtime.

Albia was paced by guard Matt Baker with a game high 32. Zach Hugen added 23 for Albia.

Lauer commented, “Give my teammates credit, they got me the ball. I was feeling it a little tonight. As for Albia, Baker every year is a world class shooter against us.”

“I told the kids this is the hardest they’ve played all season,” stated Trojan Coach Tom Wilkins.

Pleasantville improved to 12-3 with the win. Albia slipped to 10-6 with their fifth straight loss.
