Loscher fires a 41 for Knoxville Golf Team

Many of Knoxville’s young golfers participated in the Pella Christian JV Invitational Monday at Bos Landen Golf Course in Pella.

As a team the Panthers won the meet with a score of 175.

Kaden Loscher led the way for the Panthers with a nine-hole score of 41.

Wyatt Carter followed in the Panther scoring column with a 44 followed by Skylar Cunningham and Ben Galeazzi each with 45s.

Also golfing for Coach Brian Barkey’s Knoxville team but not counting in the team total for the night were Dallas Darnell with a 46 and Jake Kendall with a 50.

Finishing behind the Panthers in the team scoring were Pella Christian at 190, Pella High at 191 and PCM at 194.

The rest of the field included Des Moines Christian at 196, Oskaloosa at 197, Melcher-Dallas and Pleasantville each at 208.

The Pleasantville Trojans counted a 45 by Cassin Gar, Trey Busick at 50, Cody Marsh 52 and Joe Day at 61.

Brad Wimmer also golfed for the Trojans but didn’t count in the team total.

The M-D Saints saw Daniel Clark top the charts with a 51. He was followed by Matt Johnson and Austin Starckovich with matching 52s and Clay Wetterling at 53.

Jose Robles also golfed for the Saints but didn’t count in the team score.

The 41 by Loscher was good for medalist honors for the night.
