Schatz comes from behind to win

Knoxville — Donny Schatz won his seventh Knoxville Nationals on Saturday night. The road to victory lane was more difficult for him this year.

Schatz had not made his way into the A-Main for Saturday's championship race. On Friday night, Schatz fell just short of placing high enough in the World Challenge to earn a spot in the finale.

He made his way into the main event by winning the B-Main Saturday night. Schatz started 21st and was able to once again edge out Brian Brown to take the checkered flag.

This is Schatz's seventh title in eight years. The year he lost to Tim Schaffer, he finished second.
