“I still wanted to continue coaching football as well,” stated Horstman. “I have been coaching for several years and enjoy the challenges. We will run a different offense this year. We will be running some pistol and some no-huddle. I have a little different numbering system, so the boys have had to work hard to learn everything.”
Horstman doesn’t have a senior on his team. He does however, have a dozen juniors who are athletic, and ready to take on the challenge of a varsity season. Coach Horstman and his young troops will open the season tonight (Friday), when they host Colo-Nesco at 7 p.m.
