The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Veel Hoeden Consulting to host an Idea Exchange for people who have business ideas they would like to make a reality.
An Idea Exchange is the communities chance to bring new ideas, plans for their existing business or whatever dreams they have to a workshop that will help them get to the next step in their journey. Plans can be at any stage of the planning process from just an idea to a written out business plan.
This workshop offers a competition-free environment where you will be surrounded by a supportive community of people who want to help you succeed in Knoxville.
Hannah Vander Veer, Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, explains, “Our goal is to encourage growth, development and launch of small businesses through harnessing the power of collaborative, community-based idea exchanges. We want to create a community with an entrepreneurial mindset and being able to openly communicate our ideas is the first step.”
The Idea Exchange will take place on Wednesday, November 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the Root Cellar in Knoxville, Iowa. This event is free, open to ages high school and up, and can accommodate 20 participants. Participants must register in advance at knoxvilleiachamber.com/chamberevents.
