On Wednesday, May 17, Knoxville High School’s Class of 1952 met for lunch for its 65th reunion at Red Rock Grill and Still.

Mary Judith (Murphy) Wadle said the women meet regularly.

“The women in our class living in the Knoxville area get together once a month, while the rest of the class gets together about ever five years,” Wadle said.

Of 137 graduates more than 69 have died. Wadle continued.

“Milli (Hanson) Gilbaugh writes a newsletter keeping us informed and invited all of us to our 65th reunion today. Unfortunately not all could be here.”

Those attending around the table were primarily from the Knoxville area with the exception of Mari Jo (Hayes) Hodges-Fisher (not pictured) from Texas, Ken Smith from Chariton, and Russ Johnston from Colorado.

The Knoxville Alumni Association has done a remarkable service listing graduates by year since 1915 that includes a a yearbook photo of each graduate, if available.
