Police say a Knoxville man has had a sexual relationship with a child currently 13 years old for the last two years.

Jacob James Raney, 35, of Knoxville, was charged Sunday with third-degree sexual abuse, a class C felony; and incest, a class D felony.

According to court filings, the victim reported that Raney has had sexual relations with her for the past two years on a weekly basis.

Police said Raney admitted the sexual relationship to them.

A preliminary hearing has been set for March 19 at 9 a.m. Online court records do not yet list an attorney for Raney.

Bond has been set at $150,000.
