Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is partnering with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Marion County Bank to conduct a Decisions Seminar on the Farm Bill: ARC/PLC & Farm Financial Decisions Seminar.
There have been meetings statewide in November and December. Knoxville and Pella are two of the meeting sites where producers and landlords can learn about the program election and enrollment process regarding the Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and/or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) commodity crop programs.
The Pella meetingswill take place on Monday December 9 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Marion County Bank Meeting Room, located at 800 Main Street in Pella.
The Knoxville meeting will be held on Monday December 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Marion County Extension Office located at 210 N. Iowa Street in Knoxville.
“This meeting is designed to help producers, landlords and other agri-business professionals with ARC/PLC election and enrollment process and tools to available,” says Steve Johnson, farm management specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach.
