Knoxville Community School District has opened online registration for the 2019-2020 school year.

New student packets can be picked up at the administrative building.

Step 1: JMC information update

To register a student, login to JMC and click on the “register for school tab” on the left sidebar to the 2019-2020 school year, then click on start/continue registration process. Complete the online registration questions and choose the “NEXT” tab on the upper right. Verify or update contact information on each page and continue through the registration pages until you reach the “FINISH” button.

Be sure to jot down each StudentID number. The student ID is necessary to have in order to pay for fees in the second step.

Step 2: Payment of fees

Pay your registration fees, add money into your student’s lunch account and/or purchase student and adult activity passes on www.payforit.net. Please note that an early bird discount has been applied in the PayForIt system. Early bird discount ends August 2.

Step 3: Complete required forms for your student

Health forms - all students in Pre-K through 12th grade must fill out an annual health history form. Students in grades 6-12 can fill out an optional Tylenol consent form.

Students entering 12th grade are required to fill out new forms for two doses of Meningococcal vaccine if born after September 15, 1999 OR 1 dose if received when the student is 16 years of age or older. This is REQUIRED before starting senior year.

Nineth-grade students must have proof of a dental exam. An exam within one year before to four months after enrollment in 9th grade is acceptable.

In addition to the Tdap requirement already in place for 7th graders, the NEW requirement is for one dose of Meningococcal vaccine on or after ten years of age and grade 7 if born after September 15, 2004. REQUIRED before starting 7th grade.

Third graders must have proof of a vision exam. An exam within one year before and six months after enrollment in 3rd grade is acceptable.

Students in kindergarten should have the following forms completed: annual health history form, immunization record with required Kindergarten vaccines, physical form and lead test, and dental and vision exams within one year of the start of school. Optional diet modification forms for students with food allergies and a medication administration form for students who need daily medication at school can also be completed.

Students enrolled in pre-school should have the following forms completed: annual health history form, immunization record with require Preschool vaccines and a physical form. Optional diet modification forms for students with food allergies and a medication administration form for students who need daily medication at school can also be completed.

Athletic forms: Students in grades 7-12 who plan to participate in athletics must have a completed athletic physical form.

Miscellaneous: Miscellaneous forms to complete include: Home Language Survey New-To-District Students/One Time Only, Student Residency Form in compliance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act Assistance, and Migrant Education in English and Spanish.

All health/athletic/miscellaneous forms may be dropped off at the administrative building, brought to the Back to School Bash on July 31, to the Back to School Nights (August 20 for West and KMS; August 21 for Northstar and KHS), faxed or emailed. All forms will be distributed to school building office staff upon their return from summer break.
