The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on July 9.
During the meeting, the board held a public hearing regarding zoning map changes to the unincorporated town of Columbia. The changes would serve as a type of map clean-up. Affected properties would be changed either into residential or commercial zoning categories.
There were no comments from the public during the hearing. All changes to the zoning map were approved by the board.
The board also approved property tax credit applications for the 2020 fiscal year, as well as the assignment of a county held tax sale before moving into closed session. There was no action taken as a result of the closed session.
