The Pleasantville Trojans are 3-1 in the WCAC baseball title chase after splitting with Panorama winning 6-5 and falling 0-4 and sweeping West Central Valley 12-1, 10-0.

Overall the Trojans are 3-5 after dropping a pair of games at the Coon Rapids-Bayard Tournament Saturday.

Quintin Berglund picked up the win over Panorama 6-5 by scattering seven hits.

Wyatt Clark and Cale Lester each had two hits for PHS and Lester drove in four.

In the 4-0 loss to the Panorama Panthers the Trojans were limited to two hits. Grant Fouch only allowed four hits, but took the loss.

In the West Central Valley sweep the Trojans had pitching wins by Berglund and Grant Fouch. Berglund allowed just two hits in six innings and Fouch pitched a 5-inning one hitter.

Lester drove in three runs in the 12-1 contest while Berglund and Fouch platted two each along with Austin McMillin in the other game.

ADM topped PHS 7-4 and Coon-Rapids knocked off Pleasantville 13-6 at the Coon-Rapids Tournament Saturday.
