Knoxville posted a couple of bowling wins in a match on the lanes in Des Moines at Bowlerama Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The Knoxville boys beat S.E. Warren 2,766 to 1,554 pins.
Seniors Keagan McCarty and Blaise Hubler each had 400 series for Knoxville. McCarty’s two game series saw him with games of 235 and 247 for a 482 total.
Hubler opened with a 215 score and totaled 402 for a series.
Donovan Binns, Kyler Reidel and Deven Renard also each had one 200 games.
Binns rolled a 219 for a 390 series total, Reidel rolled a 202 game with a 361 series score and Renard had a 207 game for a 309 series.
Binns and Renard are both freshmen on the team.
Andy Funk also bowled for Coach Shaun Renard’s squad, but didn’t count in the team total.
The top bowler for the Warhawks was Dominic Wadle with a 257 series.
The Panthers completed the sweep as the girls took care of S.E. Warren 1,794 to 1,616.
Showing the way for Knoxville was Haylie Wadle with a series of 287.
The rest of the series totals for Knoxville were Lily Cieslak at 242, Raegan Cook at 232, Kiana Brown and Saphyre McCombs each at 206.
Lilliana Mejia also bowled for the Panthers, but didn’t count in the team scoring.
The top score for S.E. Warren was delivered by Allison Cooper with a 245 series.
Knoxville will face Oskaloosa Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Mahaska Bowl.
The KHS girls sport a season record of 6-7 while the boys are 9-5 overall.
The Panthers are coached by Shaun Renard.
Knoxville will be back home Jan. 23 for a Thursday afternoon meet against Clarke at 2 p.m. in Monroe.
