Rylee Dunkin continued to shine for the Twin Cedars cross country team. She won the 5K race at the Lynnville-Sully Invite held Sept. 19.

The Sabers didn’t have enough for a team score.

Behind Dunkin’s win in a time of 20:04, which produced yet another school record for the freshman, were Kisha Reed in 8th at 22:59, Cheyanne Bruns 9th at 23:06 and Brooke Roby 27th at 26:51.

“It was good to have three top 10 performances and three personal records on a tough Lynnville-Sully course,” stated Saber Coach Trent Verwers.

TC had one boy run, Andrew Freel, who was 43rd at 24:10.

M-D Saints

The Melcher-Dallas Saints ran four boys led by Emery Sage in fourth place at 17:52.

Next for the Saints were Tyler Hartman 37th at 23:13, Chase Ripperger 46th at 24:48 and Owen Suntken 65th at 28:41.
