Three Pleasantville Trojans hit double digits as they won big over the Melcher-Dallas Saints on opening night of the 2019-20 basketball season Dec. 3.
The Trojans had 16 points each from Brady Powers and Teron Mount and 15 from Mason Scheve off the bench.
The Trojans held quarter leads of 14-5, 38-10 and 59-12 en route to a 73-24 win.
Pleasantville connected on 9-of-26 shots from three-point range, led by Scheve with five and Powers with four.
Mount had a double-double with 11 boards to go with his 16 points. M-D struggled to keep the Trojans off the offensive glass.
Pleasantville had 43 rebounds for the game, 18 of them at the offensive end of the court.
Tagen Douma added six points, Caylor Clark five and Colby Sandholdt, Mitch Harken and Brady Wiseman each hit for four points for PHS.
The Saints countered with Ryan Krpan leading the scoring with only four points along with Joe Branson and Emery Sage.
M-D was limited to only 17 rebounds in the game.
