Melcher-Dallas moved to 4-0 with a solid 25-20, 25-18, 21-25, 25-11 victory at home over the Moravia Mohawks Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The four wins have all been against teams in the Bluegrass Conference.

Haley Godfrey and Kacey Enfield led in kills with 10 apiece. Kynser Reed was next on the charts with nine kills.

K. Enfield also led the Saints in digs with 17, Reed had 14 and Emma Heaberlin seven.

M-D enjoyed a good night serving the ball. Godfrey was 17-of-19 with three aces. K. Enfield was 16-of-17 with one ace and Karlee Lovell had it going with five aces while going 15-of-17 at the line.

M-D Coach Jesyka Nolte stated, “It was an amazing win at home. The girls played awesome and I am super pleased with the outcome, especially since it’s our homecoming week.”

The Saints will be at home Sept. 19 to face the Seymour Warriors.

Saturday, Sept. 21, the Saints will host the M-D Invite, facing Pleasantville, Mormon Trail and Nodaway Valley.
