The calendar has flipped to February and the Pleasantville Trojans have their big guy back in the lineup after missing a few games.
Teron Mount, a 6’6” senior not only provides size, but also senior leadership for the team.
The Trojans have won two of their first three February games with Mount back.
Pleasantville beat Interstate-35 66-44 Feb. 4, then fell to Ogden Feb. 7 51-45 before bouncing back to stop AC/GC 62-59 in a thriller on the road Monday.
Starting with the win over the AC/GC Chargers, Mount scored 21 points, Mason Scheve added 13 and Mitch Harken tallied 10.
Pleasantville led by five at halftime and held on for the win.
The Bulldogs beat the Trojans by six. Mount and Scheve each had 13 in the loss.
Caylor Clark had nine rebounds and six assists for PHS.
In the 22 point win over the Roadrunners, the Trojans picked up 19 points by Scheve, 14 from Mount, 13 from Harken and 10 by Clark.
The Trojans were 10-9 after the win.
