The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association (IPSWA) announced their all-state football squads Tuesday.

Leading the way on the all-state selections was Pleasantville senior Cale Anthony.

Anthony led Class 1A in rushing with 1,793 yards and he added 25 touchdowns.

Anthony was a fist-team all-state running back on the Class 1A first-unit.

The Knoxville Panthers were 6-3 this fall. The Panthers landed a pair of players on the Class 3A all-state list.

Keegan Cox was a second-team pick on the IPSWA team as a defensive back. Cox was second in Class 3A with eight interceptions for the year. Knoxville senior Ben Olson was a third team pick as a linebacker. He led the Panthers in tackles.

The Pella High Little Dutch finished 8-3 and they had two Class 3A first-team picks, Cody Huisman on the defensive line and Aaron Downs as a defensive back.

The Dutch also landed Logan Shetterly on the second-team as a receiver and Mason Huerter on the second team offensive line.

The PC Eagles had Luke Mulder on the second team in 1A as a defensive lineman and Dan Jungling third-team at-large pick.
