The Panorama Panthers playing at home, had a fast start Monday, Dec. 9 as they led the Pleasantville Trojans 25-7 at the close of the first quarter.

The Panthers led 45-28 at halftime. The Trojans were battling foul problems with two of their starters Teron Mound and Brady Powers both eventually fouling out.

Panorama took advantage to win the WCAC contest 88-74. Tagen Douma and Mason Scheve stepped up their offensive games to lead the Trojans in scoring with 21 and 16 points respectively. Powers also managed double digits with 11 before taking a seat on the bench.

Next in scoring for PHS were Mitch Harken with nine, Caylor Clark and Teron Mount each with six.

Braidy Friday and Colby Sandholdt rounded out the Trojan scoring for the night.

Harken topped the PHS charts with seven rebounds and six assists.

Clark had six assists and Douma four. Douma also led in steals with three.

Panorama received 26 points from Zach Rizzuti and 18 points from Malachi Peasley in the win that put the Panthers at 3-0 overall.

The loss put the Trojans at 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the league.

The Trojans will play host to Des Moines Christian Friday in a girl-boy league doubleheader tipping at 6:00 p.m.
