After falling to Panorama to open the week the Pleasantville Trojans rallied back to earn a split for the week in league play by taking down the Earlham Cardinals Friday the 13th 49-39.

The win pushes Coach Joel Allman’s squad to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the WCAC.

It marked the first time this season the Trojans haven’t scored at least 70 points in a game, but 49 proved to be more than enough against the Cardinals at home.

Pleasantville held quarter leads of 14-10, 27-23 and 34-30 before widening the margin at the end of the night in the fourth quarter.

Mitch Harken hit for 14 points and Tagen Douma deposited 10 through the nets for the Trojans.

Mason Scheve popped in off the bench to contribute nine points, Brady Powers had seven Caylor Clark five and Teron Mount four.

Despite only scoring four points, Mount proved to be a one-man destroyer on the boards with 13 rebounds. Next came Clark with seven and Harken with six.

Clarke added four steals and three assists. Douma also dished out three assists in the win.

Earlham fell to 0-3 overall.
